A group of scientists working in Berkley, Calif. have come up with a novel solution to the problem of atmospheric carbon dioxide. The potentially major breakthrough comes in the form of artificial photosynthesis, and promises to not only reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, but also to convert that carbon dioxide into valuable chemical products, with the help of a little sunlight.
